KLARKTEKNIK KT-DANTE64 Audinate Dante Network Module with up to 64 Bidirectional Channels
The KT-DANTE64 network module extends Audinate Dante compatibility to the Klark Teknik DN9650 and DN9652 Network Bridges, offering a versatile range of 32 or 64 bidirectional channels at 48 kHz or 96 kHz, respectively. Featuring advanced direct-to-computer audio recording capabilities, adaptable routing options, and seamless Plug and Play functionality, it ensures minimal latency, extremely low jitter, and sub-microsecond synchronization. Dante, compliant with Internet Protocol (IP), operates flawlessly over standard Ethernet networks utilizing readily available computer networking hardware, eliminating the need for dedicated network infrastructure. Thanks to Dante's Zero configuration protocol, compatible devices self-identify and configure upon network connection. They autonomously discover fellow devices, gauging their respective capabilities including channel counts, sample rates, and supported bit depths. Furthermore, when connected, a Dante-enabled device automatically configures its network settings. KT-DANTE64 aligns electrically and mechanically with the industry-standard Cirrus CM-1 format, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility within audio setups.
Dante Virtual Soundcard
Dante Virtual Soundcard facilitates seamless connections between computers and Dante-enabled devices for direct recording, processing, and playback via any audio application. Operating through a standard Ethernet port eliminates the need for additional audio interface hardware. Offering the capability to route audio across various destinations and devices, it supports up to 64 channels of uncompressed bidirectional audio. Dante Virtual Soundcard serves as an ideal solution for virtual soundchecks, live playback, and recording applications. Compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, licenses for Dante Virtual Soundcard can be conveniently acquired from the Audinate website.
Dual-redundant Interfaces
KT-DANTE64 boasts Primary and Secondary interfaces, ensuring operation within dual redundant Dante networks. For added convenience, LED indicators are incorporated to display network activity and speed, providing visual cues for effective monitoring and operation.
