The Lectrosonics DCR822 is a compact two-channel digital receiver designed for professional film, television, broadcast, and location sound applications. It combines Lectrosonics' advanced digital architecture with exceptional audio quality and ultra-low latency, while providing both analog and digital audio outputs for flexible system integration. The DCR822 is engineered for reliable reception in challenging RF environments, with an extended operating range and continuously tunable tracking filters covering the receiver's entire frequency range. Its Vector Diversity technology uses two RF front ends per channel along with a precision phase-matching system to improve digital transmission integrity and reception stability. The robust RF design also allows the receiver to perform reliably in environments with heavy RF activity and closely spaced carriers, whether transmitting analog or digital signals. Flexible output routing allows the DCR822 to support a variety of professional workflows, including Talkback applications. An integrated 24-bit/48 kHz digital recorder can record up to four audio tracks directly to a front-mounted microSD card, providing a convenient way to capture audio during production. The receiver is compatible with Lectrosonics' D Squared digital transmitters, including the DBSM, DBSMD, DBu, DHu, DPR, and DPR-A. It also supports stereo digital transmitters such as the DCHT and M2T, while maintaining backward compatibility with Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters produced over the past 20 years.
