The Lectrosonics DHu is a professional digital encrypted handheld transmitter designed for a wide range of wireless microphone applications, including live performance, broadcast, AV rental, corporate events, and houses of worship. It combines high-quality digital audio with flexible controls, secure transmission, and extended battery life for demanding professional use. Featuring a fourth-generation digital architecture, the DHu uses high-efficiency circuitry to provide extended operating time from two AA batteries. It tunes across the UHF television band from 470–608 MHz, with export versions supporting 470–614 MHz, and offers selectable RF output power of 25 or 50 mW. Its all-digital architecture supports AES-256-CTR encryption for applications requiring secure wireless audio transmission. The transmitter delivers studio-quality audio through high-grade components, a wide and precisely adjustable input gain range, and a DSP-controlled dual-envelope limiter. An adjustable low-frequency roll-off allows users to tailor the tonal response and reduce unwanted low-frequency content for different microphones and applications. Configuration is quick and discreet through the transmitter's concealed control panel with membrane switches. An integrated IR synchronization port allows settings to be transferred between compatible receivers and the transmitter, simplifying frequency and system setup. A programmable external switch provides convenient access to frequently used functions. It can be configured for push-to-talk, cough, mute, talkback, or power on/off, or disabled when not required.
