The Lectrosonics DSQD/AES3 is a compact half-rack digital wireless receiver that combines four wideband receiver channels with both analog XLR and AES3 digital outputs. Part of the D-Squared Series and powered by Lectrosonics' fourth-generation digital technology, it delivers reliable RF performance, flexible system integration, and studio-quality audio for film, television, broadcast, houses of worship, theater, and live concert applications. The receiver delivers high-fidelity audio with a flat 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, wide dynamic range, 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio encoding, and ultra-low latency. It continuously tunes across the 470–608 MHz UHF band, while integrated tracking filters follow the selected operating frequency to maintain strong RF performance in challenging environments. Three selectable diversity modes provide additional flexibility for different applications. The DSQD/AES3 is optimized for use with DBu bodypack and DHu handheld digital transmitters, while also maintaining backward compatibility with Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters. When paired with compatible digital transmitters, it supports AES-256-CTR encryption with three available security levels.

Setup is streamlined through auto-scan and two-way IR synchronization, allowing frequencies and transmitter settings to be coordinated quickly. A large, high-resolution backlit LCD and oversized membrane switches provide clear system monitoring and intuitive operation in both bright and low-light environments. The receiver can also be programmed and monitored through USB or Ethernet using Wireless Designer software for Mac and Windows. The software supports offline full-system frequency coordination, helping reduce setup time for larger wireless systems. For antenna distribution, rear-panel antenna inputs support remote antenna systems, while built-in loop-through cascade outputs and an internal multicoupler allow multiple receivers to share a single pair of antennas without requiring additional RF distribution hardware. Two DSQD units can be mounted together to provide eight channels in 1RU, while the optional RMPM2T-1 mounting kit is required for single-unit rack installation.
