The Lectrosonics DSSM Micro Digital Wireless Transmitter is an ultra-compact, rugged wireless transmitter designed for professional theater, television, film, sports, and broadcast applications where discreet placement and water resistance are important. Operating from 470 to 607 MHz, the DSSM is Lectrosonics' smallest transmitter with an IP57 rating and dock-charging capability. Built into a lightweight, solid-aluminum housing, the DSSM combines durability with a comprehensive set of professional wireless features. It is compatible with Lectrosonics digital receivers, including the DSR, DSR4, DSQD, DCR822, M2Ra, and DCHR. Its servo-bias input circuitry supports electret lavalier microphones, dynamic microphones, and line-level sources through a locking 3-pin LEMO connector. The DSSM also features high-efficiency circuitry designed to maximize operating time from the rechargeable LB-50 battery. Selectable RF output power includes 10, 25, and 50 mW in D2 mode, plus 4 mW in Special High Density/HDM mode. A membrane switch panel and OLED display provide quick and convenient access to transmitter settings and adjustments.
