It is ideal for applications such as broadcast, live performance, theater, sports, and other environments where moisture protection is important. Please note that this microphone is water-resistant and not intended for full immersion. For applications involving full submersion, a dedicated waterproof microphone is recommended. The WPMC-3 waterproof connection kit is available to adapt compatible waterproof microphones for use with Lectrosonics WM and M400 Series transmitters.
