The Lectrosonics Venue 2 Receiver is a modular, highly flexible wireless receiver system designed to perform reliably in congested RF environments. Its configurable architecture allows users to customize the system according to the requirements of a particular installation, production, or application. The system consists of a rack-mount host assembly that can accommodate up to six receiver modules, along with an integrated antenna multicoupler and software for system setup and control. Its modular design allows receiver modules to operate independently for up to six audio channels or be paired to provide more robust ratio diversity reception.

Receiver modules can be installed or replaced quickly without tools, while the wideband antenna multicoupler allows frequency modules to be positioned freely within the chassis, except when modules are configured as ratio-diversity pairs. A key feature of the Venue 2 is its integrated high-quality antenna multicoupler. The multicoupler functions as a dual 1-in/7-out splitter, providing six outputs for the receiver modules and an additional loop-through output. This allows multiple Venue receivers to share a single pair of antennas. The antenna inputs can also provide phantom power for remote antenna amplifiers, selectable through the system menu.
