Microtech Gefell UM 930 Twin Dual Multi-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone with EA 92 Shockmount (Satin Nickel)
Enter the realm of sonic enchantment with the satin nickel Microtech Gefell UM 930 Twin, a beacon of precision and innovation in microphone craftsmanship. With its dual-capsule design, this microphone emerges as a virtuoso, blending a cardioid capsule with a companion capable of five selectable polar patterns, from the all-encompassing embrace of omnidirectional to the laser-focused precision of supercardioid. Witness the symphony of sound unfold as two directional patterns intertwine seamlessly, opening a gateway to limitless creative expression. But it's not just about versatility; it's about purity. With a mere 7 dBA of self-noise, the UM 930 Twin unveils the true essence of your recordings, capturing every whisper and resonance with unparalleled clarity. Its sensitivity, paired with the power of 48V phantom, ensures unwavering performance across a myriad of preamps, transcending the boundaries of sonic possibility. Whether capturing the ethereal vocals of an artist or the thunderous rhythm of percussion, this microphone stands as a testament to excellence in recording facilities and radio studios alike. Accompanied by the EA 92 shockmount to banish vibrations and handling noise, and housed within its fortress-like hard case, the UM 930 Twin is not just a tool, but a treasure awaiting the touch of those who seek to sculpt soundscapes into masterpieces.
Simultaneous Recording with Two Polar Patterns- The UM 930 Twin is equipped with one fixed cardioid polar pattern and five additional user-selectable polar pattern options. The 5-pin XLR connector enables the separate capsule directivity patterns to be used simultaneously.
- This makes it possible for the recording engineer to compare the directional properties against the reference cardioid during live recording as well as in postproduction.
- Continuous control of the variable polar pattern from the mixing console or PC is possible using separate signal outputs.
