The RF Venue Diversity Fin is a multi-purpose antenna created to reduce dropouts using a patented cross-polarized, hybrid design ,for wireless microphones. DFIN combines one dipole antenna and one LPDA in an orthogonal (right angle) configuration. The horizontally polarized waves, and the other vertically polarized waves has been captured by one element - they both doing the same job as two “shark fin” paddles while greatly improving audio and RF performace. The Diversity Fin Antenna is a multi-purpose antenna designed to be used with wireless microphone systems and other UHF receivers incorporating dual branch diversity reception, and comprises orthogonal directional LPDA and bi-directional dipole elements in order to eliminate mulit-path fade. One element captures vertically polarized waves, and the other horizontally polarized waves—achieving optimal polarization diversity reception and improving signal constancy in indoor and reflective environments.
