Sennheiser ME64/K6 COMBO Cardioid microphone system
The cardioid shotgun-microphone capsule is the Sennheiser ME 64 and it is designed for use with K6 and K6 powering modules, Sennheiser ME 64 is best and suitable in a wide range of applications like interviews, dubbing, reporting, recording and live sound reinforcement. The color of the Sennheiser ME 64 is matte black with anodized and scratch resistant finish.
The Sennheiser ME 64 and K6 Combo kit is all everything you need for you to start making professional sounding recordings for ENG, live sound recordings and studio recording applications. The kit comes with Sennheiser ME 64 and the K6 powering module. Also the Sennheiser K6 can power the microphone via a single AA battery or 12 to 48V phantom power.

The Sennheiser K6 Microphone System Powering Module by Sennheiser is the compatible base for many modular capsules. It features high output levels with low noise, a switchable bass roll-off, and transformerless balanced output.
The Sennheiser K6 can operate on a single AA battery (not included) or phantom power. Its on/off switch also has a battery test position, so you can be sure you have enough juice. The Sennheiser K6's anodized, matte-black finish will resist abrasions to maintain a professional appearance, even under rigorous usage.
