The MicroFlex MX418 by Shure is a completely adjustable 18" cardioid gooseneck microphone that is designed for podium and desktop use in speech, presentations, conferences, and more. The MX418 MicroFlex gooseneck microphone series offers the flexibility of removable capsules with various polar patterns. It is included with MX418SC 18" cardioid capsule when the supercardioid and omnidirectional capsules are available separately. Additionally, the MicroFlex series is featured with high sensitivity and balanced, transformer less output for greater immunity to electromagnetic hum, RF interference, and even over long cable runs. The model MX418SC 18" is included with an attached XLR preamp, a shock mount with flange, and a mute switch with LED indicator.
