MDR.ACI Assistant Camera Interface for RED® DSMC2®

Teradek MDR.ACI (10-1320) optimizes camera settings access for assistants and operators and provides integrated Power + Control for Teradek RT Wireless FIZ systems (up to 3-channel Focus / Iris / Zoom). This module connects to the assistant side of RED DSMC2 cameras and offers an intuitive menu interface that transforms internal settings configuration into an efficient, easy-to-use experience.

Please Note MDR.ACI is not yet compatible with TOF.1 Rangefinder.

Camera Settings Control

MDR.ACI eliminates the need for touchscreen navigation by offering a daylight-viewable LCD menu with tactile push-buttons and jog wheel menu control. Integrated DSMC2 control enables users to adjust and operate internal camera settings such as record start/stop, frame rate, shutter speed, resolution, compression ratios, color configuration, and much more with a familiar, user-friendly interface.

Customizable LCD & Menu Configuration

User Buttons are fully customizable and can be programmed for quick access to preferred camera settings. LCD brightness can be adjusted for sunny daylight scenarios or dim interior/night shoots; users can choose between two UI themes that are optimized for bright and dark environments.

Teradek RT Wireless FIZ Integration

The 3-channel Motor Driver Receiver (MDR) provides power and control capability for up to three individual Lens Motors. With CTRL.1 and CTRL.3 Wireless Lens Controllers, users can pair with MDR.ACI to pull focus, adjust exposure, control zoom focal length, and generate multiple lens mapping profiles, which can be saved for future auto-calibration.
