The Universal Audio TB3SATO-C UAD-2 Satellite TB3 OCTO Core is a DSP accelerator designed for allowing the access to UAD plug-ins within any DAW software running on Thunderbolt 3 equipped Windows and Mac computers. If you have the appropriate cable, this device can be also a backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 1 or 2.

This standalone DSP accelerator is powered by eight SHARC processors and capable of providing extensive plug-in instantiation for large mixes without taxing the host computer, and at the same time it can deliver world-class analog emulation. The Custom edition is designed to go a little, it can give the users three additional UAD plug-ins of choice, provided you download them within forty days of your purchase.

The Universal Audio TB3SATO-C UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt have other benefits equipped with DSP accelerator include greater UAD plug-in instances (when compared with previous versions the interface requires less of its own DSP to function), improved performance at higher sample rates, and reduced UAD plug-in latency. And addition to that, the unit is able to supercharge existing Apollo interfaces and other UAD-2 DSP Accelerator systems by creating expanded systems for running complex mixes.

Universal Audio TB3SATO-C UAD-2 unit includes the company's Analog Classics bundle, and comes with UA 610-B Preamp and EQ with the legacy editions of the LA-2A Classic Audio Leveler, Fairchild 670 Tube Limiter, 1176LN / 1176SE Classic Limiting Amplifier, Pultec Pro Equalizers, RealVerb Pro plug-ins, UA Precision Enhancer, and CS-1 Precision Channel.
