The William Sound AP SY1 (BluePOD® Conference Mate) is a Bluetooth audio conferencing system designed to replace the traditional tabletop Voice-over-IP (VoIP) speakerphone. With William Sound AP SY1, you can now connect to the existing microphones and room speakers with your mobile device or laptop with Bluetooth technology – no special software is needed. Also, William Sound AP SY1 features an integrated mixer with DSP functions (including integrated Acoustic Echo Cancellation). The mixer also includes four inputs (two mic/ two line), two-line outputs and two 25-watt amplifiers. The patent-pending design allows for integration of the Bluetooth Wireless Access Point into the ceiling directly over your workspace, minimizing distance limitations and signal blockage. No need to install a wireless transceiver in a rack. The POD is enclosed in a UL/ plenum-rated steel 4-inch back box, and installation is as simple as running one Cat 6 cable back to the BluePOD controller. The Bluetooth Wireless Access Point (B-WAP) ensures a strong and smooth Bluetooth connection. The William Sound AP SY1 comes with two ceiling speakers and conference microphones for a complete packaged solution.
