The Monitor RCF MR-44T (Black) and MR-44WT (White) is professionally built with careful acoustic design and the use of advanced materials provide a huge contribution to the exceptional music fidelity and speech intelligibility that is exhibited to this speakers.

The carbon fiber diaphragm is designed to remain extremely rigid at high power levels, that is producing a more linear response and lower distortion. The cone comes fitted along with a durable foam surround and treated for resisting moisture. The high-frequency section is featuring a constant directivity horn that comes along with a built-in mechanical phase equalizer. The horn is made driven by a Ferrofluid® cooled, 0.5" Mylar dome tweeter.

The system is created nominally crossed over at 4 kHz by a 12 dB/octave network, which is using a markedly lower (than conventional) inductance values in series that comes along with the woofer. This design is reducing the sound delays associated with high inductance values and is capable of providing a excellent low frequency transient response. The high-pass section is corrected for use in optimum performance of the CD horn and is protected with a circuit based on a low-value/low-mass filament resistor that is limiting smoothly the power sent to the tweeter driver.
