One of a number of audio networking solutions that may be installed on any Allen & Heath dLive or Avantis I/O port is the superMADI audio networking card. The superMADI interface card features a wide range of connectivity options, including eight BNC connectors and four SFP slots for fiber optic transceivers. It was created to assist in integrating dLive and Avantis into a variety of broadcast, live interface, and recording environments (not included). Up to 128 I/O at 96kHz are available in both coaxial and optical formats, and redundancy and sample rate can be switched for each link pair in either S/MUX or HighSpeed 96kHz mode. Engineers and rental firms can connect to any MADI-capable third-party console using the superMADI card, enabling high-channel count digital splits between FOH and monitors.
