The Community ALC-404D is professionally designed as one of their trio of Amplified Loudspeaker Controllers (ALC), with this model being their 4 channels x 400W version. The ALC series comes providing an additional flexibility for real-world Community loudspeaker system applications that comes along with bridged channel pairs supporting driving loads down to 4 ohms at double the power of a single channel.

ALCs are providing all of the signal routing, DSP processing, zone switching, remote monitoring, protective limiting, and amplification functions needed between a mixer and the loudspeakers in virtually any Community Professional Loudspeakers application. Standard Ethernet communication protocols are made for allowing for fast system control, system design, and remote system monitoring. Analog and Dante® inputs are included for having a quick and easy integration into any new or existing system. Community-authored loudspeaker presets come including the equalization, high pass filters, and multi-stage limiters tailored to each model, that ensures the consistent sound quality and full loudspeaker protection in every application.

In-depth control and monitoring is accomplished with the use of ArmoníaPlus® System Manager Software, this is giving you the capability of tailoring the sound and managing the system at a remote, decentralized location. The ALC-404D is also possible to be trusted in mission critical applications, such as fire alarm systems, thanks to the cleverly engineered power supply that is made for allowing the reliable operation even even during the time it is connected to a UPS in addition to the per-channel, user-assignable fault-indicating GPIO connectors on the rear panel.

Power delivered from each output is individually monitored and automatically limited to the stated, safe operating ranges.
