Bosch CCSD-EXU, System Extension Unit, for CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System, Powers Up to 85 Additional Discussion Devices

The Bosch CCSD-EXU is an extension unit that is used in combination with a Control Unit (CCSD-CU or CCSD-CURD) to supply additional power to the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System. One or more Bosch CCSD-EXU can be used to expand the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System up to 245 Discussion Devices. A single Bosch CCSD-EXU can provide power for up to 85 additional Discussion Devices (CCSD-DS or CCSD-DL). Also, the Bosch CCSD-EXU unit is switched on and off automatically with the Control Unit.

Bosch CCSD-EXU Main Features

  • Expands the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System up to 245 Discussion Devices
  • Easily connected to the system by use of 6-pole circular connectors
  • Built-in splitter allows for installation at any convenient point in the system, including loop‑through for cascading extension units
  • One trunk and two tap‑off connections with short‑circuit protection
  • Freestanding or 19” rack-mounted; housing similar to control unit
