Lectrosonics DMTH4, DIGITAL TELEPHONE HYBRID
The Lectrosonics DMTH4 is a comprehensive digital matrix processor designed to integrate telephone lines, video codecs, and external audio sources directly into the digital bus architecture of DM Series processors. Rather than functioning solely as a telephone interface, the DMTH4 operates as a complete 3-input/24-output digital matrix processor, providing automatic mixing and extensive DSP processing across its inputs and outputs. Designed for professional sound reinforcement and conferencing systems, the DMTH4 is well suited for boardrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, distance learning facilities, hotels, and other installations using multiple microphones and loudspeakers. Its high-speed DSP architecture provides efficient processing for complex audio routing and conferencing applications.
A key feature is its integrated acoustic echo cancellation, designed to eliminate the unwanted echo that can occur when audio from remote participants is reproduced through local loudspeakers and picked up again by local microphones. Combined with adaptive proportional-gain automatic mixing, the DMTH4 provides clear, echo-free teleconferencing while maintaining high-quality local sound reinforcement, even in acoustically challenging rooms. The DMTH4 shares the large DM Series digital matrix bus, allowing it to operate alongside other DM processors and expand systems from smaller boardrooms to large installations with hundreds of inputs. Multiple DMTH4 units can also be combined to support systems requiring multiple telephone lines. For system integration and automation, the DMTH4 provides USB and RS-232 control interfaces with an intuitive command structure. Up to 128 macros can be stored internally, with each macro supporting up to 64 commands. A built-in macro recorder further simplifies system programming and control.
