BOSCH PRS-SWCS PC Call Server

The PRS SWCS PC Call Server is a professionally designed Windows service connected to one or more Praesideo network controllers with the use of TCP/IP, by using the Praesideo open interface. It is used in combination along with one or more client applications, such as the PC Call Station Client and the PC Telephone Interface Client, capable to handle all operational requests.

The PRS SWCS PC Call Server is made configured with the use of an included PC Call Server Configuration Client, running on the same computer.

Configuration and Control
The PRS SWCS PC Call Server is created for providing facilities intended for connected clients, such as identification, which makes of calls, BGM source and volume control, acknowledge and reset of emergency modes, time synchronization and license control. It is capable of operating on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 platforms.

With the use of the PRS SWCS PC Call Server Configuration Client the connections of the connected network controllers are capable to be monitored and set up. In case of multiple network controllers audio connections between network controllers are possible to be configured for enabling calls from one Praesideo network to other Praesideo networks.

Configuration data of each connected Praesideo subsystem are possible to be retrieved from the network controllers and used for configuration of the PRS SWCS PC Call Server. Multiple views of a system are capable to be configured as background images along with zone and zone group locations, independent for different users of clients. Also multiple predefined calls are possible to be configured for different users which are capable to be accessed with the use of e.g. one or more PRS CSC PC Call Station Clients. These predefined calls are possible to contain information about priority, zones, tones, messages, live speech and zones. The zones are capable to be part of different Praesideo systems, as long as all these systems are connected to the PRS SWCS PC Call Server.

The PRS SWCS PC Call Server is allowing the control of BGM source and volume in the configured zones and is giving feedback about the actual volume to the clients.
