We now provide the PRIME Output module, a completely redesigned D-A card with unheard-of levels of audio quality, to leading engineers and artists who require the highest quality analog outputs from their dLive, Avantis, or SQ system, whether it's for monitors, amp racks, or broadcast applications. The PRIME Output module is perfectly balanced and made using the most recent converter and component technology, and it is optimized from the ground up for compatibility with our cutting-edge 96kHz XCVI FPGA console core. PRIME Output modules are available as 8-channel cards for mounting directly into a DX32 Modular Expander. They can be customized as needed, either alone or in conjunction with PRIME Input modules to create the best end-to-end system. High-quality resistors, capacitors, and op-amps have been chosen for their remarkable performance: low noise, low distortion, and linearity, with the same rigorous attention to detail as the PRIME Input card.

In addition to providing extremely low noise and distortion, balanced line driver circuits preserve common mode feedback when clipping and prevent excessive ground currents, further reducing distortion. The enhanced inter-channel cross-talk produces the best stereo depth and field possible. In order to get the most transparent sound possible over the frequency range, coupling capacitors are removed from the differential design to eliminate common mode DC offsets on the output. With a 96kHz sampling rate and superb distortion and noise characteristics, the premium 32-bit DAC technology delivers extremely high performance. You can choose the best settings based on the application by configuring the DAC filter for various anti-aliasing roll-off filter characteristics, such as roll-off speed and latency. The PRIME circuitry is completely enclosed in metal shielding for better RF rejection throughout the signal route to maintain signal integrity.

Any combination of PRIME Input and Output cards can be installed in a DX32 modular expander. PRIME modules can also be mixed with existing analog and digital DX32 I/O modules.
