The DPA 4062 CORE comes in color variants: 4062-OC-C-B00 - Black and 4062-OC-C-F00 - Beige. It is a professionally designed moisture-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone that carefully created for use along with wireless systems for performance, broadcast and theatrical applications. The electret-condenser capsule is intended for offering an extremely low sensitivity setting that is made for allowing it to handle very loud performers, instruments, and vocalist. The mic is capable to deliver clear, crisp and intelligible audio, and also the rugged yet unobtrusive design is very well suited to the demands of professional live stage work and presentations at the same time.
This version of the 4062 is using the DPA's CORE technology for delivering a 16 dB increase in dynamic range and a 16 dB reduction in noise over the 4062 Legacy model. The mic comes including two interchangeable capsule-protection grids that are made for altering the sonic character of the microphone. The High-Boost Grid is made for creating a peak at 12 kHz, made helpful for chest placement, and also the Soft-Boost Grid is offering a subtle boost between 8 to 20 kHz, which is lightly enhancing the signal presence for ensuring the clarity.
Equipped with an SPL rating of 154 dB, the microphone is made more than capable of handling very loud vocalists, speakers, and presenters. The 4062 is capable to even be used to effectively mic talent during high-volume sporting events such as auto racing where loud engine noise would cause distortion in many other lavs. The mic is also capable to be used very effectively for capturing loud instruments that includes drums, brass, and percussion—that makes it a flexible tool for use in houses of worship and live event productions. The 4062 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and also comes featuring a modular design with the use of a Microdot output connector. Separately available adapters allow you to use the mic with a wide variety of transmitters.
