The QSC AcousticPerformance™ QSC AP-5122 is a two-way, professional, full-range loudspeaker ideal for a variety of installed sound reinforcement applications which requires wide coverage, compact size and high power. The QSC AP-5122 is using a high power capacity, the combination of a 305mm (12-inch) woofer and 76mm (3-inch) diaphragm compression driver to deliver exceptional full bandwidth reproduction.

The result of DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition) is the uniform power-response of the QSC AP-5122 loudspeaker, a design approach that matches HF and LF coverage in the cross-over region. Another key to the flat power response and extraordinary accuracy of the QSC AP-5122 is the axisymetric waveguide with uncompromised performance in both the horizontal and vertical axes. The result is remarkably consistent smooth and coverage, accurate reproduction off and on-axis.

To minimize amplifier channel count, the QSC AP-5122 may be used as a passive (fullrange) loudspeaker, or it may be bi-amplified for greater performance and control. The fullrange and bi-amp tunings using QSC Intrinsic Correction techniques is made available for Q-Sys and future QSC products to further enhance the performance.

The AP-5122 enclosure features M10 mounting points for suspension via eyebolts as well as mount points for an optional yoke bracket. Presenting a clean, unobtrusive look, AcousticPerformance grilles are unadorned eliminating the need to cover-up logo treatments which can be difficult to hide or remove. The grille is also lined with acoustically transparent backing adding to the enclosure’s professional appearance and the AP-5122 is available in black (RAL 9011) and white (RAL 9010) finishes. To minimize impact and disposal fees at the job site, all AcousticPerformance loudspeakers are packaged in environmentally friendly, recyclable cartons.
