The RCF L2406-T is a professionally designed full range high intelligibility compact 3 way column speaker array that comes along with vertical controlled directivity intended for use in medium to large size installations. It comes equipped with 6 5" woofers and 4 1" dome tweeters mounted in front of the 2 central woofers. This particular design is capable of permitting the coherent sound dispersion that is minimizing the lobing in a very compact enclosure. The 2 central woofers are controlled differently from the other 4 because of the tweeters in front of them, for making the improving of the directivity possible that is providing a true cardioid column operation. The wide coverage horizontal angle and the controlled vertical dispersion are created for allowing the correct sound reproduction serving a wide area and assistance in limiting feedback and reverberated sound. A speech filter is possible to be activated for enhancing the voice frequencies and improving speech intelligibility. The crossover is carefully designed capable of avoiding the secondary lobing creation. Mounting accessories are provided and are designed for keeping the column as close as possible to the wall and simplifying the installation which is allowing the suitable tilting. The L2406-T is capable to be used connected to a low impedance amplifier capable of handling the 200 W RMS power. It also comes including a 60 W line transformer for 100 V systems. The crossover is equipped with a circuit to protect the 4 1" dome tweeters.
