MZ 8060 is a professionally designed highly versatile digital audio matrix created on a powerful DSP platform, based on advanced electronics. It comes featuring a 8x6 matrix, in a place that a 8 universal MIC-LINE inputs and 6 outputs is possible to be processed through a large number of audio parameters, such as priorities, parametric equalizers, gates, compressors, delays, limiters, duckers, auto-mixer. The Automatic Level Control facility is also made available, a probe is capable to be connected on input 8, in order to automatically adjust the volume level according to the environmental noise measured. MZ 8060 is capable of receiving 10 logic inputs (GPI) and send 6 logic outputs (GPO), assignable. 2 of these outputs are operated by a relay. A serial port is possible to be set for controlling the unit from a third party system (e.g. Crestron and AMX). Moreover, it is possible to link two MZ 8060 (in master-slave configuration) in creating a 16-input 12-output matrix. A slot on the rear panel is allowing the integration of an optional RCF RDNet module, for accessing the MZ 8060 through an RDNet control network. Up to 12 paging consoles BM 3003 is possible to be daisy-chained to the dedicated RJ 45 input, alternative on input 1. The front panel comes integrating several LED indicators for allowing the supervision of the audio input and output activities. A dedicated PC Control Software, embedded into RDNet environment is available for unit setup and control: if the optional RDNet module is not installed, a standard USB connector is located on the front panel. It is created suitable for use in 19’’ rack mounting (1U). MZ 8060 is using a 50W power supply, 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz.

NETWORKED CONTROL AND MUCH MORE
RDNet is a robust management network and control platform for small, medium and large arena-sized sound systems, as well as complex and extended installations. Based on a proprietary network protocol, RDNet provides intuitive control and monitoring of every connected device/object in the RCF audio system. Each device has DSP to address specific presets or modifications of parameters to single or groups of objects. A network user can change level, delay, EQ (linear phase FiR as well) and other settings, including advanced subwoofer configurations. RDNet is not only designed for loudspeakers—you can control parameters and routing of multiple RCF devices, such as digital matrixes or amplifiers.

TOUCH CONTROL PANEL
The RCF TS 9918 touch sensitive remote control provides flexible external control of several functions. All the buttons and the scroll-wheel are fully configurable using the PC Control Software and the slim-line structure allows installation in any environment. Three backlight operation modes are available according to the application: night, eco, and daylight

ELECTRONICS
The MZ 8060 is based on a modern 40-bit floating point processing DSP and 48 kHz 24-bit HI-Q Analogue/Digital Conversion, with over 112 dB of dynamic range. The DSP is capable of an extensive range of processing: parametric EQs, gates, compressors, limiters, delays, priority levels, automatic gain control, levels, gains on in-out and cross points, auto-mixer operations and crossover filters.
