Sound Devices A20-RX Dual-Channel Digital Receiver (470 to 1525 MHz)

For use with the A10-TX and A20-Mini transmitters, Sound Devices' A20-RX is a dual-channel digital receiver with a robust feature set that guarantees professional-level dependability even in loud radio situations. The A20-RX can be used anywhere in the world thanks to SpectraBand technology, which offers a wide tuning range of 470 to 1525 MHz. Additionally, the Advanced Digital True Diversity topology employs two fully independent RF receivers for every channel, giving four receiver circuits for clearer, less dropped reception. Because the system is entirely digital, it guarantees crystal-clear audio quality and offers incredibly long transmission distances along with wall-to-wall SAW filters that prevent out-of-band interference. You can save a lot of time on set with the unit's AutoAssign function, which automatically searches a tuning band and chooses clear, interference-free frequencies for you.

Features

  • SpectraBand technology: compatible with the A20-Mini from 470 to 1525 MHz and all tuning ranges of the A10-TX
  • Advanced Digital True Diversity topology uses two complete RF receivers for each of the two channels, with four RF receivers in total
  • 100% digital long-range modulation delivers the extremely long transmission distances
  • GainForward Architecture compatible with the A20-Mini: set the Mini's gain levels via trim control (with an 8-Series) or at the A20-RX (for other mixers)
  • Full 10 Hz to 20 kHz audio bandwidth
  • Excellent immunity from nearby IFB or camera hop transmitters without the need for external filters or extra cabling
  • Analog line-level or AES digital audio output
  • A backplate is not included; users can choose between the A-XLR, A-TA3, or A-SL adapters
