The Sound Devices MixPre-3 II multitrack field recorder is a perfect tool for independent filmmakers, field recordists, and podcasters who require clear audio capture of up to three microphones. While listening through your headphones, record up to three tracks of external sources in addition to a stereo mix at up to 32-bit / 192 kHz. You can obtain sample rates of up to 96 kHz if you decide to utilize the MixPre-3 II as your studio interface. Compared to its predecessor, the MixPre-3 II has numerous improvements. The capacity to record at 32-bit floating point to an internal SD card is the most important of these features. Additionally, the device can be used as an audio interface that streams 32-bit floating-point audio to a Mac computer via USB. You can rarely clip (distort) audio on the way in because of this. The unit's remarkable 142 dB dynamic range can be utilized for recording at high volumes, and the only limitation will be the caliber of your microphone.
