The Radial HotShot DM1 is a dynamic microphone switcher with a momentary toggle footswitch designed for allowing an artist on stage to redirect a vocal mic for feeding the stage monitoring system and communicate with technicians or band members.

The Radial HotShot DM1 is designed to address on-stage communication problems that may happen to an artists who employ in-ear monitoring systems, it is a simple passive footswitch capable of enabling the artists on stage to quickly reroute their signal without affecting the performance. Using the Radial HotShot DM1 is simple and easy, just connect any dynamic mic to the input and the send the main XLR output to the mixer, then connect a cable from the second output of the Radial HotShot DM1 for feeding a common intercom buss. As soon as the user depress the momentary footswitch, the signal that is going to the main output is muted and redirected to the monitoring system. This is allowing the musician to discreetly speak with to other band members or even discuss to the crew about a technical problem if there are any. As soon as the release of the footswitch, the system automatically reverts back to normal operation, that allows the show to continue on as normal.
