Sonifex PC-FLS8UP Flashlog 8 Upgrade From FL7 Standard

Each line source in Flashlog 8 offers versatile configuration options, including Stereo, 2 x Mono, 1 x Mono, or Hidden settings. When set to Hidden, the input continues to be recorded without appearing on the playback screen, providing discreet recording functionality. To ensure efficient utilization of hard drive space, the number of recording days dropdown lists is dynamically populated based on available storage capacity. For enhanced organization, line channel subcategories can also be created, with the option to select a subcategory from a dropdown list. Each input can be assigned a descriptive 12-character name, which appears on the playback button for easy identification. In 2 x Mono mode, distinct names are assigned to each channel for clarity. The software allows users to adjust the audio compression rate, offering options such as 80kbps, 128kbps, 256kbps, or lossless compression. Additionally, audio failure alarms can be optionally enabled to alert users in case of any audio issues. When used with PC-AM and PC-FM radio capture cards, Flashlog 8 conveniently displays AM and FM radio capture sources. Users can edit fields for frequency and optionally add descriptive names. In cases where RDS data is available and no custom name is provided, the transmitted station name is automatically used and dynamically updated if changed by the station. Visual indicators for RF and audio signal levels, as well as stereo and RDS indicators for FM channels, provide comprehensive monitoring capabilities. Optional alarms for audio or carrier failures can also be enabled. The dropdown list facilitates easy adjustment of logging days, with the range dynamically determined based on available drive space.
