The Radial JR1-M is a single action footswitch that is professionally designed for controlling a function remotely such as A or B outputs selection. As a passive device, the Radial JR1-M doesn't requiring any power for making it work. Instead, it is utilizing a simple mechanical switch that is shorting the positive with the ground with the use of either ¼” or XLR connections. The Radial JR1-M is available in a ‘L’ latching version that is requiring pushing on and pushing off the footswitch for sorting and releasing the contact, or a ‘M’ momentary version that is shorting the contact when depressed, and releases as soon as the switch is released.
