Sonifex CM-LUR1 Balanced to Unbalanced Converter, Passive, RJ45 to Phono

This product facilitates the connection of a stereo balanced line input through RJ45 with StudioHub+™ pinout to a stereo unbalanced output via stereo phono connectors. Featuring transformer balancing with a 2:1 ratio, it adds 6dB of attenuation to the input, aiding in interfacing with the lower signal levels typical of consumer outputs. As a passive counterpart to the RB-LU4 (albeit with only 1 x stereo channel), this unit offers an alternative to the need for specialized cables to interface balanced outputs with unbalanced inputs (such as by shorting the non-phase to ground or disconnecting it). It proves especially valuable when a shared balanced audio feed requires interfacing with an unbalanced input on one or more pieces of equipment. The use of a CM-LUR1 or CM-LUX1 ensures galvanic isolation of the audio, enabling connection via phono cables to an unbalanced input without compromising the distributed feed.
