Sonifex CM-ULR1 Unbalanced to Balanced Converter, Passive, Phono to RJ45
This product facilitates the connection of a stereo unbalanced line input via phono connectors to a balanced line output through an RJ45 with StudioHub+™ pinout. It features transformer balancing with a 1:2 ratio, resulting in the addition of 6dB of gain to the input to aid in interfacing with the higher signal levels typical of professional outputs. Serving as a passive counterpart to the RB-UL1, this unit offers an alternative to directly wiring an unbalanced output into a balanced input. Placing this box near the unbalanced output (prior to the cable run to the balanced input) allows the connection to benefit from the common mode rejection capabilities of the input device, thereby reducing noise and interference.
