For example, to link a professional satellite receiver to a consumer device, the RB-LU4 is a 1U rack-mount quad stereo unit designed to interface professional balanced line levels to domestic or semi-pro unbalanced equipment. High-fidelity setup. The rear panel houses all of the connectors. Eight unbalanced RCA outputs with an output impedance of less than 50Ω are connected to eight balanced XLR-3 inputs with an impedance of 20kΩ. Pre-set potentiometers that are accessed through the rear panel can be used to independently adjust the output gain for the left and right channels. The power supply connection is shown via an LED power indicator on the front panel.
