Radial Catapult RX4M 4ch receiver, balanced outs, mic-level transformers, uses shielded cat-5
The Radial Catapult RX4M is a snake that is designed to use alongside the TX4M which is accepting four-channel of analog or AES audio signal over Ethernet, and routing them into the eight XLR with the jack provided. Four of the XLR channels and the other four are isolated as the same time. The Radial Catapult RX4M is perfectly useful in live-sound reinforcement applications, because it is allowing the live-sound stage techs use relatively affordable cable for ensuring the quality of the quality audio connections around large venues and stages. It's also best to use by system contractors, who are given the ability to employ a pre-wired networks for moving audio throughout disparate room.
The Radial Catapult RX4M is designed for giving you 2 banks of XLR channels, each sporting four channels. Over the direct outputs are the phantom power can be provided (so long as a shielded Cat5/Cat6 cable is used), and the mic-level isolation that is already provided is designed for helping in the elimination of noise issues that may caused by ground loops at the same time. Keep in mind that the two RJ45-type etherCON connections. One is a multi-channel input, for use with the TX4M on the transmission end. The other is a throughput, and can be implementing in routing signal to additional Catapults.
- Glass-filled, nylon XLR connectors that are tougher than steel, providing 100%
- Nickel-silver contacts that don’t tarnish over time
-
Minimal signal degradation over long cable runs
- Low-noise and flat frequency response
- 4 x XLR through-outputs with line-level transformer isolation for additional routing
- 1 x Ethernet through-output for feeding additional Catapult models
- Protective steel handle facilitates convenient transportation
- Durable powder coat
- Ground lift for the Cat5 cable’s ground path to mitigate ground-loop noise
- 4 x bumpers used to protect Ethernet connectors and ground-lift switch from damage
- Double-sided, military-spec grade circuit board for durability, full ground plane, and a marked reduction in radio-frequency interference
- Radial push switches with durable metal outer casing, rated at over 20,000 cycles
