The Voice Technologies VT0101 (Beige) / VT0100 (White) the VT500 is a professionally designed omnidirectional lavalier microphone that comes along with a flat, wide frequency response that is carefully designed for crucial reproduction of vocals. It is created for outstanding performance in theatrical, broadcast and sound-reinforcement applications, the VT500's frequency response is capable of delivering an exceptionally transparent audio reproduction that comes along with minimal noise.

Speech clarity is enhanced along with a slight rise in frequency response at the upper frequency range, and the omnidirectional polar pattern is capable of suppressing the handling and clothing noise at the same time. Noise that are caused by radio frequency interference is also made minimized with an internal RF filter. The 5-foot (1.5 meter) cable is rugged and moisture proof and also comes featuring an excellent isolation from handling noise.

The omnidirectional pattern is capable of providing a generous pick up at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The pattern also suppresses handling noise caused by clothing and skin contact.
