Audix SCX1HC MIC, COND, STUDIO, SCX SERIES, H CARD, W Studio Condenser Microphone (Hypercardioid Polar Pattern)

The Audix SCX1HC is a Studio Condenser Microphone that is designed to offer a versatile condenser microphone system that can be used for a wide variety just as in general instrument, vocal, and ambiance capturing applications. The Audix SCX1HC comes with a modular capsule design which allows the user to switch the included hypercardioid capsule with separately sold cardioid and omnidirectional capsules. When the Audix SCX1HC is used near speakers and monitors, the hyper-cardioid polar pattern is capable of providing a maximum signal rejection at the off-axis sections of the microphone head, that provides a low noise floor and high gain-before-feedback response. Circuitry without transformers and surface mount technology are providing a compact profile and quiet signal response with a low noise floor. The high sensitivity of microphone and wide frequency response are suitable for use with overhead cymbals, vocals, percussion, guitar, drums, strings, and similar sounds. A high SPL rating of 130 dB is enabling the capsule to perfectly pick up transient (peaking) signal with no noise that is caused by distortion overload. The package includes an external foam windscreen for reducing wind, sibilance, and pop noise, a nylon molded snap-on clip, and a foam lined wooden case.

Hypercardioid Polar Pattern
The hyper-cardioid polar pattern provides maximum signal rejection at the off-axis sections of the microphone head, providing a low noise floor and high gain-before-feedback response.
Modular Capsule Design
A modular capsule system allows you to switch the included hypercardioid capsule with separately sold cardioid and omnidirectional capsules.
Surface Mount Technology
Surface mount technology provides a small, compact profile for quick, easy, and unobtrusive microphone placement.
Transformerless Design
Transformerless output circuitry results in high signal to noise ratio and high signal output.
