CEDAR CP Restore Declick, Manual Declick, Decrackle, Dethump & Auto Dehiss
Six sophisticated modules make up CEDAR for Pyramix 64, which enables users to get rid of a variety of typical issues and greatly enhance audio quality. All of these processes are based on our multi-award-winning flagships, CEDAR Studio and CEDAR Cambridge, and they all deliver unparalleled results fast, with the least amount of hassle and user participation.
Auto and Manual Declick
CEDAR for Pyramix 64 handles the broadest range of scratch and click removal issues while operating at a high speed without compromising CEDAR quality thanks to its manual and automatic declicking features. Compared to earlier declickers for Pyramix, auto declick has a better interpolator and better impulsive noise recognition. This leads to better-than-ever performance over a larger spectrum of materials. The quality of this performance is so high that it is usually impossible to detect that the signal was corrupted before restoration.
Auto Decrackle
Auto decrackle, which is based on the same technology as the acclaimed CEDAR CR-1 and its highly acclaimed offspring, can detect and eliminate many types of grungy and ground-in crackles from a signal without compromising the desired audio quality. Additionally, it eliminates some amplitude distortions and buzz from a variety of sources, including current broadcasts and cylinder recordings tainted with lighting buzz. It's really easy to use and works just as well for broadcast and movie soundtrack restoration as it does for more conventional audio restoration tasks like CD and DVD remastering.
Auto Dehiss
The adverse effects of several plug-in dehissers include glugging and twittering. With the help of an intricate algorithm, auto dehiss allows the software to identify the broadband noise content and eliminate it without introducing any undesirable side effects or artifacts. Additionally, a manual option is provided so that the findings can be adjusted as needed. Though remarkably easy to use, Auto dehiss is a fully functional software for restoring audio for broadcast, CD and DVD mastering, postproduction, and sound archives.
Dethump
Thumps, often persisting for extensive durations, pose a challenge for conventional declicking methods when restoring audio. Additionally, the spectral overlap between thumps and genuine signals makes standard high-pass or band-reject filters ineffective without compromising the desired audio quality. Enter Dethump – a revolutionary solution utilizing data in and around the affected signal to reconstruct the low-frequency information as it should be without the thump interference. By seamlessly replacing the thump with restored low-frequency audio, Dethump preserves the integrity of undamaged high-frequency elements. Its unparalleled ability to analyze and restore signals of up to 100,000 samples duration makes it the go-to tool for tackling issues associated with optical soundtracks, restoring damaged cylinders and discs, and addressing modern recording challenges caused by unexpected bumps to microphones and stands. Experience a level of signal restoration previously deemed unattainable.
System Requirements | CEDAR for Pyramix 64 is licensed using the latest revision of CEDAR's HSP-2 dongle. Users with earlier dongles should contact one of our Sales Professionals for assistance. |
