The DPA 4060 CORE+ Lavalier Microphone Kit is a miniature, moisture-resistant microphone designed for professional wireless systems used in broadcasting, live performances, and theatrical productions. Its electret-condenser capsule delivers crisp, clear, and intelligible speech, while its rugged yet discreet design makes it ideal for professional presentations and demanding live-stage environments. The compact MicroLock connector supports a wide range of wireless transmitters through separately available adapters. Featuring DPA’s CORE+ technology, the 4060 offers a wide dynamic range and minimizes distortion at sound pressure levels (SPL) up to 126 dB RMS, delivering clean, natural sound even on loud stages. Two interchangeable capsule-protection grids are included to adjust the microphone’s sonic character for different placement positions. With normal sensitivity, the microphone handles peak SPLs up to 131 dB with less than 1% distortion, making it suitable for speakers, vocalists, and presenters. It can also capture instruments effectively, making it a versatile choice for houses of worship and live-event productions. The microphone operates on 5–10V plug-in power from a compatible wireless transmitter. The kit includes an XLR adapter that supports a wide range of professional audio equipment and powers the microphone using 12–48V external phantom power. A zippered case, a plastic case, and a lapel clip are also included.
