The DPA 4063 CORE comes with color variants: 4063-OC-C-B00 - Black, 4063-OC-C-F00 - Beige and 4063-OC-C-W00 - White. It is a professionally designed moisture-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone that's carefully created for use with wireless systems for performance, theatrical and broadcast applications. Equipped with low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule that is made for working along with low-voltage wireless transmitters capable of handling loud speakers, performers and vocalists and deliver clear, intelligible and crisp audio. The rugged yet unobtrusive design is created very-well suited to the demands of professional presentations and live stage work.

This version of the 4063 is made using the DPA's CORE technology to deliver a 12 dB increase in dynamic range and a 12 dB reduction in noise over the 4063 Legacy model. The mic comes including two interchangeable capsule-protection grids that are capable of altering the sonic character of the microphone. The High-Boost Grid is made to create a peak at 12 kHz, vital for use in chest placement, and the Soft-Boost Grid comeso offering a subtle boost between 8 to 20 kHz, which lightly enhancing signal presence for ensuring the clarity.

Equipped with an SPL rating of 138 dB, the microphone is created more than capable of handling loud vocalists, presenters and speakers. The mic is also capable to be used very effectively for capturing instruments—which makes it a flexible tool for use in houses of worship and live event productions. The 4063 CORE is powered by 3 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and also comes featuring a modular design with the use of a Microdot output connector.
