The DPA 4071 CORE+ Lavalier Microphone is a professional miniature lavalier microphone designed for broadcast, electronic news gathering (ENG), electronic field production (EFP), theatrical performances, and other demanding audio applications. Its black, moisture-resistant design offers discreet placement, while its low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule is optimized for loud speakers, vocalists, and presenters. Powered by DPA’s CORE+ technology, the microphone delivers a wide dynamic range and exceptionally low distortion, even at high sound pressure levels. It handles peak SPLs of up to 137 dB with less than 1% distortion, helping capture clear, natural, and intelligible speech in challenging recording environments. Its presence boost enhances vocal clarity, while two interchangeable capsule-protection grids allow users to adjust the microphone’s sonic character for different placement positions. The ENG/EFP Accessories Kit includes essential mounting and wind protection accessories for professional field recording. The microphone operates on 5–10V plug-in power from a compatible wireless transmitter or 48V phantom power when used with the included XLR adapter.
