DPA Concealer for Heavy-Duty 4060, 4061, and 4071 Microphones (Set of 5)

DPA Concealer for Heavy-Duty 4060, 4061, and 4071 Microphones (Set of 5)

The DPA Microphones DMM0522 Concealer is a set of five specially designed microphone concealers that help minimise unwanted clothing friction noise when attaching DPA Heavy-Duty 4060, 4061, and 4071 microphones to performers and subjects. Ideal for theatre productions, concerts, houses of worship, interviews, and other professional audio applications, these concealers help maintain cleaner audio capture by keeping clothing away from the microphone. Clothing friction can introduce unwanted noise into microphone recordings, affecting speech clarity and overall audio quality. The DMM0522 addresses this issue by creating separation between the microphone and clothing, helping prevent problematic cloth noise during performances, presentations, and recordings. Its practical two-part construction provides added convenience during microphone placement.

The top section can be removed while the base remains attached to the clothing, allowing the microphone setup to be accessed without removing the entire concealer from the garment. A detachable spacer bracket provides reliable distance between the clothing and the microphone. Designed to click securely in and out of the concealer's top section, the bracket offers flexibility when positioning and managing the microphone. With its five-piece set, clothing-noise reduction design, removable top section, and detachable spacer bracket, the DPA DMM0522 provides a practical microphone-mounting accessory for professional sound technicians who need cleaner audio capture and discreet microphone placement in demanding production environments.
