Both DigiLink connectors and Thunderbolt connections are provided by Focusrite Red 16 which is allowing easy switching from Pro Tools | HD to a second DAW with no need to reconfigure option cards in the interface. Simply change the host mode either on the device front panel  or in the remote-control software.
