The JBL PSB-1 2.0 is a professional, high-fidelity active soundbar designed professionally for use in cruise ship staterooms and hotel guestrooms. The JBL Pro SoundBar PSB-1, as targeting that unique application, lessen the complexity and cost which can be found in consumer-grade soundbars while still providing excellent security, reliability and, of course, sound quality. The JBL PSB-1's design delivers full-range sound even without the need for a separate subwoofer and a 4-position volume limiting switch to control maximum volume output. For further volume management, the Pro SoundBar offers a 4-position volume limiting switch to control the maximum volume output of the soundbar. The Pro SoundBar supports both variable and fixed source volumes. The JBL PSB-1 supports with a single remote, whether the volume is controlled directly or at the TV, to control the entire system through IR learning. The Pro SoundBar, even in fixed volume scenarios, can learn the volume up and down controls, that allows the guest to use a television remote for adjusting the entire system without the need to use a smart remote. Also, a lockout plate is included preventing the guests from tampering the volume controls and volume source selection.
