The Pro Intercom HS2 is capable of performing the same functions as the BP1 beltpack can do but it is also designed to be mounted in a U.S. standard 2-gang electrical box. In addition to the BP1's front panel controls for Mic On/Off, Volume, Sidetone and Signal, it is also equipped with a recessed screwdriver for adjusting microphone sensitivity for adjusting to a headset with either a electret or dynamic microphone.

The CALL button doubles as the signal light.

Pro Intercom HS2M connections are via a rear panel plug-in terminal strip. The mating connector is included.

Performance:

The Pro Intercom HS2M is providing the same facilities as our BP1 portable headset stations (beltpacks) but in a format suitable for flush mounting in a 2-gang electrical box. A version is also available Pro Intercom HS2M which comes along with a rotary switch for connecting to the station to up to 4 different circuits, one-at-a-time. Frequency response has been carefully shaped for optimizing both intelligibility and long-term listening comfort. A mic limiter circuit for reducing overload distortion.The high bridging impedance for ensuring that the system and sidetone levels do not vary as other stations are switched in and out of the circuit.

The front panel contains controls for switching the microphone on and off, for controlling listening level, for signaling, and for adjusting the mic level to accomodate both dynamic and electret headset microphones.

A recessed, screw driver adjust control is provided for varying the level of the user's voice to be heard in his/her own earphone (Sidetone). The HS2 has a terminal strip on the rear and fits in a standard 2-gang electrical box. The mating plug is included. The headset or handset connects to the station via a front-panel 4-pin XLR connector. The Call button on the front panel lights whenever anyone on the same circuit presses their signal light button.
