The Shure BLX288/PG58 is an affordable handheld wireless microphone system for two presenters, teachers, or lecturers which are offering high-quality sound, easy setup, and dependable performance right out of the box. BLX288/PG58 also includes the compact and lightweight BLX88 dual-channel tabletop receiver along with internal antennas perfect for portable use.

The BLX288/PG58 also contains two handheld transmitters equipped with an integrated PG58 dynamic microphone cardioid capsule. The system is featured with one-touch QuickScan frequency selection for quickly locating a clean frequency in case of interference. BLX288/PG58 provides continuous use up to 14 hours using four AA batteries, at a range up to 300'. Up to 12 mic channels can be operated simultaneously in every frequency band.

This streamlined system is well suited for live performances and events in small venues, wedding halls, and houses of worship, as well as conference, educational, and corporate facilities.

PG58 Mic Capsules Optimized for Vocals and Speech

The PG58 dynamic capsules feature a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback. The built-in spherical wind and pop filters reduce plosives for clear and intelligible speech.

Lightweight Handheld Transmitters

The durable BLX2 handheld transmitters offer a lightweight, ergonomic design, and are comfortable to hold. Group- and channel-selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off button, adjustable gain control, and a black identification cap. The WA621 Color ID Caps kit containing assorted colored caps is available as an optional accessory.

Easy-to-Use Dual-Channel Tabletop Receiver for Quality Audio

The BLX88 receiver employs a microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity feature to improve the quality and reliability of your wireless audio. Two LED displays show group and channel settings, while four LED lights indicate when the system is ready for use and the strength of the incoming audio signal. The unit offers two 1/4" and two XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.
