Telex RTS BP4000A4M Single-Channel Portable Beltpack Communications Kit with Dual-Sided Headset
The Telex BP4000A4M Single-Channel Portable Beltpack Headset Station allows you to stay connected on an RTS, Audiocom, or Clear-Com intercom system. This wired beltpack station has auto-wiring scheme detection, which automatically recognizes the system it is connected to and configures itself accordingly.
The beltpack also features intelligent power management, allowing you to daisy-chain up to 40 beltpacks using a single (optional) PS-20 power supply. A current pump circuit constantly monitors the overall cable length versus the actual current consumption, ensuring that each beltpack receives the necessary voltage.
The BP-4000 includes additional features to facilitate integration into an intercom system, such as guided setup and various communication controls. Connections are made via a male, 4-pin XLR connection.
Enhanced Talk Button Control
You have the flexibility to set your talk settings to "always on", "always off", or "switching". A built-in blinking lamp provides a visual indicator for incoming calls.
Remote Microphone Kill Switch
Any user on the intercom can instantly mute the mics on all connected BP4000A4M beltpacks by sending an inaudible "kill signal". This feature can be overridden if necessary but is useful in situations where an open mic in the partyline needs to be silenced immediately.
Headset Compatibility The BP4000A4M has a 4-pin male XLR port that is compatible with a (separately available) 4-pin female XLR headset. Both dynamic and electret headset microphones are supported. Senal SMH-1020CH2 Dual-Sided Communication Headset

The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (20') is a studio-quality cable for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces, and recorders or to be used in any other application where XLR connectivity is required. The cable is engineered to be both quiet and durable, and is well suited for critical recording and broadcast situations.
Studio Elite 4000 Series cables are made from 24 AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.
- 98% braided shield offers protection from EMI and RFI noise.
- Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.
- 24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core provides the best possible conductivity.
- Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.
- All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection.
- Neutrik XX silver connectors offer high conductivity.
- Cast zinc shell and chuck style strain relief.
