The SM52-EZ-WX comes in two color variants: SM52-EZ-WX-BK Speaker in Black and SM52-EZ-WX-WH Speaker in White. It is professionally designed for extreme weather resistance, the SM52-EZ-WX is an economical solution made for integrators who need a surface-mount outdoor speaker option to be use for paging and music applications. The speaker is capable of incorporating a dedicated 5.25 inch polypropylene woofer and an offset 1 inch soft dome tweeter that comes along with waveguide for delivering a superb intelligibility created for background and foreground music and (up to 100.0 dB max. SPL). SoundTube's proprietary BroadBeam Ring™ technology in all models is ensuring the high intelligibility, even well off-axis. The SM-EZ-WX speakers are built with Weather Extreme, it comes with an IP65 rating,, that means that these speakers are dust-tight and will withstand water jets aimed directly at them when installed along with the included port plugs. With its 32 watt transformer and 6 position tap switch, the SM52-EZ is capable of offering 25.5 V, 70.7 V and 100 V operation along with an 8 ohm bypass. Inputs are made with the use of ceramic terminal strips, this make these speakers suitable for European voice evacuation systems. The SM52-EZ-WX comes containing a powder coated aluminum grille and mounting hardware, a safety cable, wall mount bracket, conduit connector, and port hole plug.
