Up to eight digital stereo AES3 inputs and eight digital stereo AES3 outputs can be converted to and from the Dante Audio-over-IP networking standard using the AVN-AESIO8R audio converter and interface. Sample rates between 32 kHz and 192 kHz can be accepted by each input; the sample rates will be translated to the Dante system sample rate. Each input's front panel AES3 lock LED verifies that the input signal is legitimate. Each output adheres to the sample rate of the Dante system. The device's dual Ethernet ports enable redundant operation, guaranteeing that audio routing is preserved if one of the network connections loses connection. This affordable 1U rack-mount device provides system integrators and AV specialists with a simple solution. It is easy to set up and use, requiring only the standard Dante Controller software and PoE (Power Over Ethernet) for power. All digital AES3 inputs and outputs are on high-quality Neutrik XLR connectors and there are front panel status/confidence LEDs for PoE, Link, and Clock.
