The Pearl Microphone Lab CB22 Figure-of-8 Condenser Pink Microphone is a professionally designed FET condenser microphone that comes along with Pearl's Model 2800 rectangular dual-diaphragm capsule, carefully configured for a figure-of-8 pickup pattern. The Model 2800 capsule comes using a thin polyester diaphragm that measures 14x29mm, placed on a 17x35mm rectangular frame. Although the mic's advertised frequency response is 20Hz-25kHz, the -3dB points are made closer to 45Hz and 14kHz. The microphone name is also engraved into the body, and painted pink for distinguishing the CB22. The CB22 is possible to be paired along with the cardioid CC22 intended for use in Mid-Side stereo applications or along with a second CB22 for use in Blumlein recording. The mic ships in a padded aluminum flight case (p/n AC01).
