Sonifex AVN-DIO19 Dante® to AES3 16 Channel I/O Converter

Up to eight digital stereo AES3 inputs and eight digital stereo AES3 outputs can be converted to and from the Dante Audio-over-IP networking standard using the AVN-DIO19 audio converter and interface. Sample rates between 32 kHz and 192 kHz can be accepted by each input; the sample rates will be translated to the Dante system sample rate. Each output adheres to the sample rate of the Dante system.

It is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE), featuring primary and secondary ports for redundancy in both data and power and Neutrik EtherCON® connections. The AVN-DIO19 is compliant with Dante Domain Manager® and AES67 because it uses the most recent Audinate Dante® chipsets.

The network clock status, the AoIP Primary and Secondary connection status, and the active PoE Primary and Secondary power are all indicated via front panel LEDs.  In addition to these, there are 8 AES3 input lock status LEDs. A web interface is available for firmware updates, status information, network, and device settings. Up to 3 of the AVN-DIO19 units can be rackmount in the 1U AVN-DIORK.
